Poor in Spirit, Rich in Christ

Who did you look up to as a child?

Jesus said many things that were counter intuitive. He said things like “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven,” or “The first shall be last and the last shall be first,” and “Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth.” What did He really mean?
